Use left overs to make a meal
Unplug anything not being used
Don’t overuse your phone
Cut down less trees
Don’t smoke

4C –
Don’t use too much water in the kettle
Buy items with packaging which has been recycled
Walk instead of drive
Have a shower instead of a bath
Grow your own fruit and veg

4Y –
Turn game consoles of, and not on standby
Turn the heating down
Close curtains to keep heat in
Insulate your house
Energy saving lightbulbs

4M –
Use the whiteboard, instead of smartboard when you can
Turn the smartboard of whenever possible
Turn off clocks when on holiday
Use a bell or knock instead of using an electrical door bell
Double glaze windows

5K –
Car share
Play in the garden not on the computer
Use public transport
Wash by hand – instead of machine
Send unwanted things to charity

5H -
Create your own entertainment, instead of watching TV
Use rainwater to water plants
Hang washing on a washing line, instead of using the machine
Don’t wash towels and clothes after every use if possible
Re-use wrapping paper
6S-
Open windows, instead of using air conditioning
Use less chemicals, such as aerosols
Compost
Use less O-Zone layer destroying products e.g. CFC’s
Eat local produce instead of importing food

6B –
Use a pen’s ink, until it has all been used up
Take unwanted clothes to a charity shop
Recycle old mobile phones
Use rechargable batteries
Use wind, or solar power

E very day there’s rubbish so we’re relying on you

Y ou’re making lots of mess that tickles your toes
C ard, bottles and paper, recycle them too
L ots of people are helping , one of them might be you

Save Our Planet

Save or planet is what i say,
So recycle stuff every day,
Please will you do it, it really helps the Earth,
It makes your life more full of worth.
Dont throw stuff in the bin,
Example – it is easy to recycle a tin.
Junk can get you hurt,
So take care and be alert.
Thank you for listening to me,
So watch out and be as careful as can be.

Climate change is one of the most serious threats facing the people and wildlife of this planet. We all have a role to play reducing this threat.
