Below are the year 4 members of the Eco-Team with the cards we collected.

The Eco Team made recycled presents this year for Christmas showing how you can reuse items at this time of year! We used old glass jars from coffee or jam and painted them with glass paints. We think they make great candle holders or sweetie jars and can be reused year after year.
Let me introduce to you the brand new Sudley Eco Team:

Glass, card, tin
Put it in the bin
Animals yelp
And you can help
Put your litter in the bin
If it tastes bitter
It is litter
Put your dustbin on a diet, try it
Why not start today?
Think before you throw away
Charities are crying
While you keep buying
So…
Reduce, reuse, recycle.

Recycle your litter
don’t throw it away
It dirties the city
and wastes energy too!
So think of a way
to use something again.
This will help save the planet
and the creatures who live on it.
So change our environment
recycle, reuse, reduce.
by Daniel Meade
Save or planet is what i say,
So recycle stuff every day,
Please will you do it, it really helps the Earth,
It makes your life more full of worth.
Dont throw stuff in the bin,
Example – it is easy to recycle a tin.
Junk can get you hurt,
So take care and be alert.
Thank you for listening to me,
So watch out and be as careful as can be.
On Saturday 28 March 2009 at 8.30pm, people, businesses and iconic buildings around the world will switch off their lights for an hour – WWF’s Earth Hour.
Sudley is asking you to participate. Will you switch off your lights for an hour on this day?
Climate change is one of the most serious threats facing the people and wildlife of this planet. We all have a role to play reducing this threat.
Comment below if you are taking part in the WWF Earth hour or if you are making a change to help save energy.
It would be great to read your ideas.
Thanks so much!

Thanks to everyone who has supported the Jewellery Recycling we have been running this week. The response so far has been good, but for whose who haven’t had a chance to look out something yet, there’s still time.
Remember whoever returns donated jewellery will be entered into a draw to win an MP3 Player.
Please send your envelopes back by 13th March.
